With my background in beauty and fashion, I have always had a love for great skincare and beautiful clothes. Visiting department stores and spending as much as $300 on skincare was something I would do often.

Thoughts of being an entrepreneur would often cross my mind and as time went on, I began to know that I wanted to own my own business. I really had no idea what my business would be, so of course I never thought that it would be a skincare business.

Skincare is definitely a passion of mine so I have always had an idea of what some ingredients were but as far as it being a business of mine, I never thought that.

Having studied and earned a license in cosmetology, I understand that there are so many harsh and unnatural chemicals in products today. This is why I decided that Brown Girl Love would create products that would be all natural.
This decision took me on a journey of discovery. With much trial and error, I created our hero body butter that has garnered much support and love from social media and through word of mouth. I am so grateful for all the support and love from everyone, and I want to thank you all. As long as God is at the head of this vision, Brown Girl Love will continue to grow and prosper.
